Gender identity” refers to one’s understanding, interests, outlook, and feelings about whether one is female or male, or both, or neither, regardless of one’s biological sex.

Is it really wise to ask a 6 year old boy if he’s “female or male, or both, or neither?” Perhaps rather than asking children what they “feel” their gender is, we should, as adults entrusted to teach children how to live, show them how to be the men or women they were designed to be?
